Fall 2009 Trend: Accent Baggage
Fall 2009 Trend: Accent Baggage
DALLAS, Aug 12, 2009 / FW/ — Gigantic bowlers, rectangular messengers, these are sporadically present on the catwalk, but clutches in various colors and shapes seem to take dominion over all.
Oversized baggage has not taken a back seat by any means, but smaller handbags are considered crucial commodity for fall. They are quaint yet powerful.
Rectangular messenger bags with extra long straps can add a vintage touch to an outfit. This accessory adds a little boho chic to a flowy dress or can reform a busy print by splitting the busyness of all over pattern.
Rebecca Taylor and Anna Sui exhibit this wonderful accent in their collections. It is key to let this purse hang on one shoulder, not crossed over the body, and it should hit just below the waist.
