I absolutely love this bag. It is constructed well, quite spacious, and really quite beautiful. It looks great but more importantly it serves my needs perfectly. As a graduate student I needed something to carry my laptop and documents in addition to the occasional textbook or two. This bag fits everything very well and has extra pockets in front to keep my pens, cards, cell phone and other small items organized. I love that I can carry it comfortably over my shoulder or just in hand like a briefcase. It is appropriate for business and teaching related endeavors in addition to everyday school related usage.
Being genuine leather, I imagine some wear will be obvious over time but I happen to appreciate a worn appearance.
I should note that as a female, the color and size of the bag (I have the tan version), comes across as professional but not masculine. I wouldn’t go as far as to say that the bag is feminine, because it isn’t. In fact, my boyfriend looks dashing and professional when he carries it. Still, I can carry it when I am wearing jeans or a dress or a suit. It is amazingly versatile.
At the vastly reduced price of 150 from 400, this bag is a steal.
