faa fv pay scale 2010
faa fv pay scale 2010
I found a job posted on USAJobs with the FAA with a series/grade of FV-0341-F/G. Salary Range: $41,006.00 – $74,279.00 /year. I am assuming that is similar to a “GS” and the F/G is like 5/6, or 7/9, etc.
I am currently a GS employee and I am unsure how the FV system works. Are any of you familiar with this? It is less than an 8 and 9 starting starting salary, but more than a 7.
I am currently a 7 step 5. Does anyone know where I would start in the salary range? Would I qualify for saved pay?
I am an E band employee at the FAA. Although my pay is about $2,000 less than a GS-7 (I make around 40,400), I am considered a GS-7 equivallent based on my job description and my responsibilities. Some paybands combine GS grades into their equivallent (for example, the D payband is supposed to be a GS 5/6 equivallent). I’m not as familiar with pay bands above mine, but I believe an F is an 8/9 and a G is a 10. source:federalsoup.com
